The Chalke Valley Stores Post Office is an outreach of Tisbury Post Office which provides a postmaster on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
We also employ two young helpers to help in the Coffee Shop on alternate Saturdays, enabling them to gain valuable work experience.
The salaried staff are supported by CVCH’s Management Committee. The staff and Management Committee are also supported by voluntary advisors on IT, retail and legal issues. The Management Committee and the advisors give their time freely.

The Village Archives
The Village Archives are stored upstairs on the mezzanine floor and are open for viewing on the 1st Saturday of each month. Here you will find a wealth of documents, photographs and maps of the local area – an opportunity perhaps to trace the history of your house or ancestors.
